ABI (AI Business Infrastructure) is a concept that APC is developing and validating to help people and AI carry out business continuously.
ABI is not designed only to generate a one-time answer to a prompt. It is an AI Business Infrastructure concept intended to connect purpose, context, knowledge, intelligence, planning, human approval, execution, outcomes, and learning over time. ABI is currently under development and validation. Its goal is to support continuous human-AI work while keeping human intent, judgment, and approval at the center.

Role of Purpose
Clarifies the objective of a business or initiative and serves as the basis for judgment and execution.
Role of Context / Memory / Knowledge
Organizes the context, memory, and knowledge relevant to the business as a foundation for judgment.
Role of Intelligence
Supports understanding of the situation and consideration of options based on organized information.
Role of Planning
Builds an executable plan based on the purpose and current situation.
Why Approval Is Needed
Keeps human approval in important execution decisions rather than leaving them to AI alone.
Execution and Records
Executes approved plans and records what was executed.
Outcome and Learning
Reviews the results of execution and feeds them into the next decision and plan.
The Relationship Between APC and ABI
ABI is a concept under development and validation as part of APC's "AI, Digital Transformation and Systems" area. Alongside developing and validating ABI, APC also supports organizations with operational design and AI adoption.
Current Status
ABI is currently under development and validation. It is not offered as a finished, formally released product, and there are no client organizations using it at this time.
Future Direction
APC aims to develop ABI into infrastructure that supports safe, continuous collaboration between people and AI, with human purpose and approval kept at the center.
